On the Rebound, Looking for True Love
Xiao Mao looked so sad when he was first found near NTU by SPCA.
Well, you’d be brimming with sadness too if the person you had thought was your world abandoned you.
Under the care of SPCA for just a couple of days, Xiao Mao has improved quite a lot. Now he can even be comedic sometimes. A friend says he looks like Sun Yue, the warm-hearted comedian/activist.

I’m sure Xiao Mao, like Uncle Sun, is equally warm-hearted, capable of showering someone with love. He just needs time and the right person to come along.
Xiao Mao is now on the rebound, i.e., foster care. (Yeah, I’m his rebound girl.) He doesn’t bark, but he whines quite often. This might seem a bit annoying, but I just think about the amount of tissue paper that I used after break-ups or during lovers’ quarrels and I can totally sympathize.
If you think you can be Xiao Mao’s true love, please contact SPCA at 02-2312-1914. To be up front with you, Xiao Mao now has ear infections and skin irritations from his wandering days, but these minor conditions heal much faster than a broken heart.
How can you mend a broken heart?
The answer is with love.
